If you plan to leave the Faire and come back, make sure to get your hand stamped on your way in or out.

What does the ticket cost include?

Your entry fee will help cover the costs of tents, tables and chairs for our makers, a bike valet, trash, recycle, and compost receptacles to keep waste off our streets and out of our waterways, and more!  In addition, $2 from every ticket goes to West Alameda Business Association’s Creative & Cultural Spaces Fundwhich will be used to pay for parklets, murals, and other place-making projects in west Alameda.

I heard the company behind the San Mateo Maker Faire is shutting down.  Is the Alameda Mini Maker Faire still happening?

Yes!  The Alameda Mini Maker Faire is still on. While we operate under a license from Maker Media, like all Mini Maker Faires we are an independently-run and financed event.  Join us on August 11 to help keep the Bay Area maker spirit thriving!
